On September 13, 2024, Trooper Enrique Delgado-Garcia was pronounced dead at UMass Worcester after experiencing what has been described as a "medical crisis" during a boxing training exercise at the Massachusetts State Police Academy. His family has since revealed that he sustained severe injuries, including a broken neck, shattered teeth, a fractured ankle, and a broken nose. The simple fact is the injuries Enrique suffered are NOT consistent with  injuries you would sustain during a "boxing training exercise".

The Delgado-Garcia family is grieving deeply. They, along with the people of Massachusetts, deserve to know what happened. That’s why WE are calling on Governor Maura Healey, Attorney General Andrea Campbell, and newly appointed Colonel Geoffrey D. Noble of the Massachusetts State Police to provide a public update and statement about the circumstances surrounding Trooper Delgado-Garcia’s death. 

As individuals in positions of authority, it’s time for transparency.
